In a Nutshell
"We provide the technology; independent captains provide the transport. You must be 18+, follow safety rules, and pay calculated fares. Disputes are handled via arbitration in Gurugram."
1. Acceptance of Terms
BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT, DOWNLOADING THE APP, OR USING YELLOW RIDE SERVICES, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
These Terms apply to all users of the Yellow Ride platform, including riders, independent captain-partners, and visitors. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Jai Shree Ram International Private Limited.
2. Eligibility
Age Requirement
Minimum 18 years of age. Use by minors is strictly prohibited.
Legal Capacity
You must have the legal authority to enter into contracts under Indian law.
Account Integrity
One user per account. Accounts are strictly non-transferable.
Accurate Info
All registration data must be true, accurate, and current at all times.
3. Description of Services
Yellow Ride provides a technology platform that enables users to arrange and schedule transportation and/or logistics services with independent third-party providers.
The Intermediary Disclaimer
"YELLOW RIDE DOES NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES. CAPTAINS ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS AND NOT EMPLOYEES OF YELLOW RIDE. THE QUALITY, SAFETY, AND LEGALITY OF THE TRANSPORTATION IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAPTAIN."
4. Rider Terms
- ✓ Wait Fee: Starts 5 mins after captain arrival.
- ✓ Cancellations: ₹50 if captain is halfway to pickup.
- ✓ Behaviour: No smoking or illegal items in vehicle.
- ✓ Incidents: Report safety issues via in-app SOS.
5. Captain Terms
- ✓ Pure Contractor: 100% independent relationship.
- ✓ KYC: Mandatory Aadhaar, PAN, and DL verification.
- ✓ Commission: Flat 20% platform access fee.
- ✓ Law: Must strictly follow all Traffic Regulations.
6. Payments, Refunds & GST
Pricing Model
"Fares are calculated as: Base Fare + Price per KM + Time Factor + GST + Tolls (if any)."
Surge Notice
"Yellow Ride uses dynamic pricing. During high demand, fares may increase. The confirmed fare in the app is binding."
7. Ratings & Reviews
To ensure a safe and respectful community, Riders and Captains may rate each other after a ride. These ratings are transparent and help maintain service quality.
Content Policy: Reviews must not contain profanity, hate speech, or personal details. Yellow Ride reserves the right to remove any review that violates these community guidelines.

All content on the Yellow Ride platform, including logos, trademarks, text, software, and images, is the exclusive property of Jai Shree Ram International Private Limited.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial use only. Any unauthorized reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.
10. Disclaimers & Liability
Service Provided "As-Is"
Yellow Ride provides the technology platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, reliability, or the quality of independent transportation providers.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the services shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific ride in question or ₹5,000, whichever is lower.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yellow Ride and its officers from and against any claims, damages, or costs arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Binding Arbitration & Governing Law
Disputes that cannot be resolved via our support team shall be referred to a Sole Arbitrator in Gurugram, India, under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Haryana (Gurugram) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters related to these Terms.
14. Termination
Yellow Ride reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for breach of these Terms, non-compliance with laws, or for safety reasons.
You may terminate your account by deleting it via the app settings. All payment obligations incurred prior to termination will survive.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified through the app or website. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
